The National Weather Service in Gray Maine has issued a

* Flood Warning for Small Streams in...
  Oxford County in western Maine...
  Western Somerset County in west central Maine...
  Franklin County in western Maine...

* Until 600 PM EDT Monday

* At 1157 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  that rain was falling over the area. Up to two inches of rain have
  already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Farmington, Fairfield, Bethel, Jackman, Eustis, Coburn Gore,
  Rangeley, Rumford, Skowhegan, Madison, Jay, Dixfield, Kingfield,
  Canton, Andover, Carrabassett Valley, Errol, Grafton, Wilton and
  Norridgewock.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

* Winds...South 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* Timing...Through this afternoon.

* Impacts...While winds will not be as strong as earlier this
  morning, they will be strong enough to bring down a few more
  winds and trees, and will lead some additional power outages.
  They may also be strong enough to impact power restoration
  efforts. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile
  vehicles.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 35 mph...or wind
gusts up to 57 mph...are expected. Winds this strong can make
driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. Use
extra caution.

.Intensifying low pressure will pass west of the region today.
This will result in damaging winds with widespread power
outages. The strongest winds are expected to across the higher
terrain and interior Downeast.

  Scattered power outages are likely.

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.
