...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST THIS EVENING...

* WINDS...Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 to 50 mph.

* TIMING...Through the day today.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power
  lines. Numerous power outages may result. In Addition strong
  winds will be accompanied by wind chills ranging from single
  digits below zero across the north to single digits above zero
  Central and Downeast. Lastly, Patchy blowing snow may result in
  corridors of much reduced visibility across open stretches of
  area roadways over northwest and far northeast portions of the
  region.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
