Ontario through Maine and New Brunswick and was connected to a new
low pressure center with a central pressure of 991 mb (29.26 in)
located north of Prince Edward Island. From this new low, an
occlusion followed by a cold front stretched southward across the
western Atlantic and back westward across southeastern Georgia and

The original low pressure center will continue moving eastward
across Quebec, northern Maine, and into the Canadian maritimes
today into Tuesday. Snowfall associated with the system will end
as the low pulls away. Light snows of 1 to 3 inches are forecast
in the Adirondacks on Monday. The front will be slow-moving across
the central and eastern Gulf Coast through Monday, so rain and
thunderstorms are forecast to continue in parts of the Southeast.
An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain is possible, with locally
higher amounts when storms train over the same locations.
This will be the last storm summary issued by the Weather
Prediction Center for this event. Please refer to your local
National Weather service office for additional information.
