Winter Storm Carter Update Two

12:12 PM AST Sunday 02 December 2018
Snowfall warning in effect for:

Campbellton and eastern half of Restigouche County
western half of Restigouche County
Snowfall with total amounts of about 15 cm is expected.

A developing low pressure system will track across southern New
Brunswick tonight to lie over the Gulf of St. Lawrence by Monday
morning. Snow ahead of this system will develop over northern parts of New Brunswick this afternoon and will become heavy at times this evening. Later this evening or in the overnight hours the snow will likely change to a mixture of ice pellets and freezing rain before tapering off to some patchy drizzle or freezing drizzle overnight. Snowfall amounts near 15 centimetres are now expected tonight over northernmost regions of New Brunswick.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
