  Southern Coos Counties. In Maine, Central Somerset, Northern

  Franklin and Northern Oxford Counties.


* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Tuesday.


* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive

  outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

Frost advisory in effect for:


Fredericton and Southern York County

Patchy frost expected early Tuesday morning.


Minimum temperatures: -2 to +4 (coolest in low lying areas).


Locations: most of New Brunswick.


Time span: late overnight tonight into Tuesday morning. Patchy frost is also expected for early Wednesday morning.


Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas.


Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
