New England...
Wind Advisories are in effect for portions of Long Island and the
Massachusetts coast

At 900 AM EST...National Weather Service Doppler Radar depict
bands of moderate to heavy rainfall moving from east to west
across New England. The heaviest rain bands appear to be embedded
within the overall stratiform shield out ahead of a cold front
that is moving across New England. The strongest winds associated
with the remnants of Nicole are currently over portions of the
coastal Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, where wind gusts are up to
20-30 mph.

Remnant moisture from Nicole will impact Maine while winds begin
to diminish along the Northeast Coast. Rainfall should come to an
end across New England as the low pressure system moves into the
Canadian Maritimes.
