...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 8 AM EDT WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 9
inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. Patchy blowing snow.
* WHERE...Portions of Central Highlands, Far Eastern, and Penobscot
Valley Maine
* WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon to 8 AM EDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
will impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.
Strong winds could cause damage to trees and power lines.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause
primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited
visibilities, and use caution while driving.

Snowfall warning in effect for:
Stanley - Doaktown - Blackville Area
Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm expected.
Locations: eastern and central New Brunswick.
Time span: this afternoon into Wednesday.
Remarks: Snow is forecast to develop in the south this afternoon and spread northward by this evening. Periods of snow will persist over many areas on Wednesday but will vary in intensity and accumulations. Visibilities may be reduced in blowing snow on Wednesday morning along the Acadian shores. Snow may become mixed with rain in the southeast Wednesday morning.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
