THROUGH SOUTHERN QUEBEC. AN OCCLUDED FRONT STRETCHED EASTWARD FROM
THIS LOW...WITH A WARM FRONT EXTENDING ACROSS MAINE AND A COLD
FRONT EXTENDING INTO THE WESTERN ATLANTIC. NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE DOPPLER RADARS AND SURFACE OBSERVATIONS INDICATED
GENERALLY LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN WAS MOVING ACROSS PORTIONS OF NEW

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO AN INCH CAN BE EXPECTED
ACROSS EASTERN MAINE BEFORE RAIN ENDS THIS EVENING. DAMAGING WIND
GUSTS REMAIN POSSIBLE THROUGHOUT THE DAY BEFORE SUBSIDING THIS
EVENING AS THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES FARTHER AWAY INTO CANADA.

An autumn storm currently over Quebec has given significant amounts
of rain for many regions.
Rain from this system began Saturday afternoon for many areas and
ended by early afternoon on Monday. The vast majority of rain fell
Sunday night into Monday morning.
