...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM MONDAY TO 5 AM
EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Coastal Hancock and Coastal Washington Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 PM Monday to 5 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and powerlines.
  Numerous to widespread power outages are likely. Travel will
  be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.

* WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Central Penobscot, Southern Penobscot, Interior
  Hancock, Central Washington and Northern Washington Counties.

* WHEN...From midnight Monday night to 5 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and isolated to scattered power
  outages may result.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Central Highlands Maine, Far
Eastern Maine, Far Northern Maine and North Woods Maine.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Strong wind is possible Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night behind
a powerful cold front.

Periods of rain could lead to ponding of water and minor flooding in
poor drainage areas due to the melting snow. At this time, there is
no threat of any major flooding. A rapid freeze up and icy
conditions are likely Tuesday night.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters are encouraged to report significant weather
conditions according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Fredericton and Southern York County
Significant rain and wind are expected.

Total Rainfall: 30 to 50 mm. Locally higher amounts possible, especially along the Fundy coast of New Brunswick and southwestern Nova Scotia.

Locations: Mainland Nova Scotia, central and southern New Brunswick.

Time frame: Monday afternoon to Tuesday afternoon. More rain is possible on Tuesday evening before possibly switching over to periods of snow Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
