A strong frontal disturbance swept through the Maritimes Wednesday 
into Thursday. The system brought high wind and rain to Nova Scotia.

A. Peak winds in kilometres per hour: 

South Shore 70 to 90 
Annapolis Valley 80 to 110 
HRM, Central, Northern, and Eastern regions 80 to 110 
Cape Breton 80 to 110 except 100 to 140 Inverness county 

B: Rainfall totals in millimetres: 

Western region 20 to 30 
Central, northern, and eastern regions 30 to 40 
Cape Breton 30 to 50
