Heavy rainfall tonight and Wednesday morning will give amounts of 50 millimetres.

This is a warning that significant rainfall is expected or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.

A low pressure system will pass south of the region on Wednesday. Rain associated with this system will become heavy at times tonight and into Wednesday morning across the Fundy region. The precipitation will taper-off late Wednesday as the low moves east of the Maritimes. Rainfall amounts near 50 millimetres are expected but the worrisome issue is that the ground is already quite saturated from post tropical storm Andrea and other recent rainfall events.
