Snowfall warning in effect for:

Saint John and County
Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.

A low pressure system approaching from the west will cross southern New Brunswick on Tuesday. Snow associated with this system will start over New Brunswick overnight tonight and will taper off late in the afternoon on Tuesday. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm are expected. However, should the track of this system change as it approaches our region, these amounts could change significantly.

Additionally, in the wake of this system strong northwesterly winds will develop and temperatures are expected to quickly drop well below zero Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. This will give windchill values approaching warning levels in the northwest near dawn on Wednesday.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
