Today Highlights

Precip: 27 mm/1.06 Inch

Note: Average sustained winds of 15 mph with gusts to 30 mph/24 gusting to 48 km/h out of the SW, and short bursts of heavy to torrential rain plagued the area this evening as the remnants of Hurricane Katrina passed by to our north. Two brief peak gusts of 50 mph/81 km/h occurred around 10:00 PM local time (ADT).

The remnants of Hurricane Katrina affected the region today with rain, heavy at times. Most of the moisture however passed to the north of my location, as the remnant low moved along a quasi stationary front to the north of this region. Posted by Picasa
