TUESDAY MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Central Highlands, Far Eastern, Far Northern,
and North Woods Maine, including the following areas, in Central
Highlands Maine, Central Piscataquis and Northern Penobscot. In
Far Eastern Maine, Southeast Aroostook. In Far Northern Maine,
Northeast Aroostook and Northwest Aroostook. In North Woods Maine,
Northern Piscataquis and Northern Somerset.
* WHEN...From 2 PM EDT this afternoon through Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A slow moving cold front will bring periods of moderate to
heavy rainfall this afternoon into tonight. Some areas could
see locally heavy rainfall of 2 inches or more.

Warm and humid conditions continuing this afternoon.
Time span: Ending this evening.
Daytime maximum (southwestern Nova Scotia): 29 degrees Celsius (Humidex 38).
Locations: Southwestern Nova Scotia.
Drink plenty of water even before you feel thirsty and stay in a cool place.
Reduce your heat risk. Schedule outdoor activities during the coolest parts of the day.
