  Coastal York, Coastal Cumberland, Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and
  Coastal Waldo Counties.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 11 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Some power outages are likely. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.

Wind warning in effect for:

Halifax Metro and Halifax County West
Southeasterly winds gusting up to 90 km/h are expected to develop Thursday morning. Winds will ease by noon Thursday for western Nova Scotia and by afternoon for the Atlantic coast.

Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
