Friday night into Saturday morning, bringing strong winds, snow, and 
blowing snow to southeastern New Brunswick. The following is a

today and is currently east of Cape Breton. This system has brought 
strong winds, rain, freezing rain, ice pellets, snow, and blowing 
snow across the province, continuing today over northern and eastern 
Nova Scotia.

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM TO NOON EST
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Up to 1 foot of inundation above ground level possible in
  low-lying areas near shorelines at high tide near 10 am Monday
  morning. Splashover from large waves is possible along areas of
  the coast exposed to large waves such as Seawall Roads on Mount
  Desert Island and along the Schoodic Peninsula.

* WHERE...Coastal Hancock County.

* WHEN...From 9 AM to noon EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Shallow flooding is possible in the most vulnerable
  locations near the waterfront & piers. Some low-lying causeways
  will have water beginning to approach the road with up to 1 foot
  of inundation above ground level possible at vulnerable low
  lying areas. The majority of roads will remain passable with
  only isolated closures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM TO NOON EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Minor to moderate coastal flooding will occur. Twenty
  foot nearshore waves will lead to moderate to locally
  significant beach erosion. Splash-over will lead to ponding of
  roads and will impact vulnerable structures.

* WHERE...In New Hampshire, Coastal Rockingham County. In Maine,
  Coastal York and Coastal Cumberland Counties.

* WHEN...From 9 AM to noon EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Numerous road closers expected. Low lying properties
  including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure
  may be inundated.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

Mount Carleton - Renous Highway
Snowfall with total amounts of about 15 cm is expected.

Locations: Northern New Brunswick.

Time span: Monday afternoon and evening.

Remarks: The heaviest snow will spread across the northwest Monday afternoon and early in the evening in the northeast. The snow will change to or become mixed with rain Monday night.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
