...SOME SPLASH-OVER POSSIBLE AROUND THE TIME OF HIGH TIDE
TONIGHT...
* WHAT...Some splash-over is possible tonight around the time of
high tide after midnight. For the High Surf Advisory, large
breaking nearshore waves of 4 to 7 feet from Hurricane Larry
will lead to dangerous rip currents Thursday.
* WHERE...In New Hampshire, Coastal Rockingham County. In Maine,
Coastal York County.
* WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, from 7 AM to 8 PM EDT
Thursday. For the, until 2 AM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Some water on low lying roads and property.
Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach
erosion.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Do not drive through flooded roadways.
Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.

Fredericton and Southern York County
Significant rainfall is expected.
Total Rainfall: 20 to 45 millimetres, higher amounts possible in some localities.
Time span: Thursday morning until Friday afternoon.
Remarks: Periods of rain are expected to begin over extreme northwestern New Brunswick overnight tonight. Rain is expected to gradually spread southeastward across the province Thursday and Thursday night and become heavy at times. The rain is expected to taper to showers Friday afternoon.

...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 8 PM EDT
THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Large breaking swells 4 to 6 feet from Hurricane Larry
expected in the surf zone.
* WHERE...Coastal Washington and Coastal Hancock Counties.
* WHEN...From 7 AM to 8 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...High dangerous surf and strong rip currents will
make for hazardous surf conditions. Large waves can present a
danger to people on rocks above the water. Stay away from rock
outcrops along the shoreline exposed to ocean waves, as waves
can easily sweep people into the cold ocean water.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A high surf advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in
the advisory area...producing rip currents and localized beach
erosion.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Central Highlands Maine, Far
Eastern Maine, Far Northern Maine, Interior DownEast Maine, North
Woods Maine and Penobscot Valley Maine.
.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.
Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Widespread showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms will become
steady rain during the day Thursday. Rain will become moderate to
heavy at times especially Thursday evening into Friday morning. Rain
may be heavy enough to cause ponding and poor drainage flooding
Thursday night. If trends continue a flood watch may be needed
especially across southeastern portions of the area.
