THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN AND EASTERN MAINE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

RAIN IS EXPECTED TODAY INTO TONIGHT WITH THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL
ACROSS CENTRAL AND EASTERN MAINE THIS MORNING. ANOTHER AXIS OF
HEAVIER RAINFALL IS EXPECTED ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTHWESTER MAINE
THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE EARLY EVENING HOURS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1
TO 2 INCHES WILL BE COMMON ACROSS THESE AREAS.

THIS RAINFALL WILL LEAD TO SOME SMALLER STREAMS AND BROOKS TO
REACH NEAR BANKFULL WITH SOME POSSIBLY SPILLING OVER THEIR BANKS.
SOME LOW LYING AREA COULD EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING ESPECIALLY
SOUTHERN PISCATAQUIS AND SOUTHERN PENOBSCOT COUNTIES DUE THE
HEAVIER RAINFALL THAT OCCURRED WITH THUNDERSTORMS LATE SATURDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

SHOWERS IN THE MORNING ACROSS NORTHERN AND EASTERN MAINE WILL END
BY THE AFTERNOON WITH SOME CLEARING TAKING PLACE MONDAY NIGHT INTO
EARLY TUESDAY.

A frontal trough moving slowly through New Brunswick today will stall over the Bay of Fundy tonight. Rain..Heavy at times..Is spreading along the trough this morning. Rain will taper off to a few showers Monday morning as the frontal trough moves away from the province. Rainfall amounts between 30 to 50 millimetres are expected in a 24 hour period.
