Excessive Heat Warning Issued For SW Nova Scotia

Heat Warning in effect for:
Yarmouth County
A period of record-breaking hot temperatures is expected to continue.
Time span: continuing into Friday, and Saturday over southern sections.
Maximum Temperature Friday: 33 to 35 degrees Celsius (Humidex 34 to 39).
Maximum Temperature Saturday: 30 to 34 degrees Celsius (Humidex 34 to 36).
Minimum Temperatures: 17 to 20 degrees Celsius.
Locations: Inland areas of Nova Scotia.
Remarks: Cooler temperatures will occur along parts of the coast, where winds blow onshore. Temperatures will return to more seasonal values over northern Nova Scotia on Saturday, however, hot weather is expected to continue over southern areas.
Reduce your heat risk. Schedule outdoor activities during the coolest parts of the day.
