This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Maine, south central Maine,
southwest Maine, west central Maine, western Maine, New Hampshire,
central New Hampshire, northern New Hampshire and southern New
Hampshire.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Potential exists for critical fire weather conditions across parts
of New Hampshire and western Maine on Monday and Tuesday. A dry
Canadian airmass will move into the region on Monday along with
gusty northwest winds. Relative humidity values on Monday are
expected to be the lowest across southern New Hampshire and
southwest Maine, but wind gusts well into the 30 mph range will be
widespread. A very dry airmass is expected to move across the entire
region Monday night into Tuesday with minimum relative humidity
values dropping into the teens along with continued breezy
conditions.

Special weather statement in effect for:
Cumberland County North and Cobequid Pass
Rain and wind is expected on Monday.
Total rainfall: 30 to 50 mm. Locally higher amounts possible.
Maximum wind gusts: 60 to 80 km/h. Stronger coastal gusts are possible, mainly over eastern Cape Breton.
Locations: northern mainland Nova Scotia and Cape Breton Island.
Time span: Tonight into Monday afternoon.
Remarks: Rain associated with a low pressure system tracking over eastern Nova Scotia will begin tonight and become heavy, at times, Monday morning with strong southeasterly winds. The rain is expected to taper to showers with diminishing winds by Monday afternoon.
There remains some uncertainty in the exact track and strength of this system which will affect where the heaviest rain will fall. Rain and wind warnings may be required as the system draws nearer.

Halifax County - east of Porters Lake
Rain, at times heavy, is expected.
Total rainfall: widespread 40 to 60 mm, possibly higher amounts in heaviest rain.
Locations: Halifax County - east of Porters Lake and Guysborough County
Time span: tonight until Monday afternoon.
Remarks: Periods of rain, at times heavy, are expected tonight through to Monday morning. Rain will taper to showers Monday afternoon.
There remains some uncertainty in the track of the system which will affect where the heaviest rain will fall.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
