==Discussion==

A trough of low pressure approached the Maritimes on Friday and
slowly moved across Nova Scotia Friday night. This storm brought
snow to northern New Brunswick, rain to southern New Brunswick, and
freezing rain for central and eastern areas. The precipitation
persisted all day Friday and into Friday night before tapering off
overnight.

The duration of freezing rain for most areas was between 16 to 19
hours.

Snowfall amounts for northern New Brunswick range from 15 to 25 cm.
