Wind warning in effect for:

Victoria County

Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.

Maximum gusts: northwesterly 90 km/h.

Locations: northern half of Cape Breton Island

Time span: continuing this evening and after midnight.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
