Snowfall warning for
Halifax Metro and Halifax County West issued

15-25 centimeters of snow is expected by Thursday evening.

This is a warning that significant snowfall is expected in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.

A low pressure system south of Nova Scotia will slowly move eastward tonight. Precipitation will begin as snow or rain mixed with ice pellets this evening before completely changing over to snow near midnight. 15-25 centimeters of snow is forecast for the eastern half of the Atlantic coast and Cape Breton. Where as 10-20 centimeters of snow is forecast for Hants County up to Antigonish County. The snow will taper off to a few flurries by late Thursday afternoon
