Special weather statement in effect for:

Halifax Metro and Halifax County West

Heavy rainfall is expected.

Total rainfall: 30 to 50 mm.

Time span: tonight until Thursday morning.

Remarks: Rainfall amounts will vary as bands of heavier rain move through the region. Rainfall rates will occasionally be high which will lead to excessive water runoff and water pooling on roadways giving difficult driving conditions.
