Frost advisory in effect for:

Fredericton and Southern York County
Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas.

Minimum temperatures: -6 to +3 (coolest in low lying areas).

Locations: New Brunswick except Grand Manan and Coastal Charlotte County.
Time span: early Saturday morning.

Remarks: Patchy frost is expected to form as clear skies and light winds coincide with cool temperatures, especially in low lying areas.

Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Central Highlands Maine, Far
Eastern Maine, Far Northern Maine, North Woods Maine and Penobscot
Valley Maine.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Elevated fire danger is expected for Northern and East Central
portions of the region today, especially mid to late afternoon when
minimum relative humidities will reach 20 to 25 percent and northwest
wind gusts upwards to 25 mph. Please refer to the caution burning
special statement (PWMSPSCAR) for additional details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
