Special weather statement in effect for:

Campbellton and eastern half of Restigouche County
western half of Restigouche County
A slow moving frontal system will give rain at times heavy to portions of New Brunswick beginning on

Wednesday. The rain will then spread slowly eastward during the day and persist Wednesday night into

Thursday.

Currently, rainfall warnings are in effect for portions of western and southern New Brunswick where up to

60 millimetres are forecast by Thursday morning.

Rain at times heavy will spread to most remaining regions of the province by Thursday evening. There is a

likelihood that rainfall warnings will be extended to other regions of New Brunswick with subsequent

forecasts. Therefore, the public is advised to monitor subsequent forecasts.

Rainfall warning in effect for:

Fredericton and Southern York County
Rain, at times heavy, is expected.

A slow moving frontal system will give rain at times heavy to these regions beginning near noon Wednesday.

The rain will then spread slowly eastward in the afternoon and persist Wednesday night into Thursday.

Rainfall amounts up to 60 millimetres are forecast by Thursday morning. More rain is likely Thursday and

total amounts of 100 millimetres or more are likely over some areas of these regions.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
