Winter Storm Warnings remain in effect for portions of northern
Maine.
Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for areas downwind of Lake
Ontario.

At 900 AM EST...A strong surface low with a central pressure of
984 millibars, or 29.06 inches of mercury, was located about 50
miles North of Prince Edward Island and is rapidly pulling away
off to the northeast through the Canadian maritimes. Surface
observations and National Weather Service radars still indicate
some light snow over mainly northern Maine. Meanwhile, some
lake-effect snow showers are occurring downwind of Lake Erie and
Lake Ontario and impacting areas of northeast Ohio, western
Pennsylvania, western New York, as well as the central
Appalachians.
