Widespread Frost possible overnight throughout most of the Maritimes

Frost Advisory in effect for:
  • Fredericton and Southern York County
Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas.

Light winds and clear skies will allow temperatures to drop to near freezing overnight and early Thursday morning giving frost to most regions.
Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to the reach freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
