Fredericton and Southern York County issued

Up to 100 millimetres of rain is expected by Tuesday morning.

A frontal system will begin to slowly move back northward tonight. Snow will begin over Northern New Brunswick tonight then change to ice pellets and freezing rain overnight. As the frontal system will continue to move northward on Monday the ice pellets and freezing rain will change to rain by noon Monday.

Some freezing rain is also expected tonight over Northeast New Brunswick, however, the majority of the precipitation will fall in an extended period of ice pellets.

Periods of rain associated with the frontal system will continue over Southern New Brunswick until Tuesday. Up to 100 millimetres of rain is forecast over Southwestern New Brunswick by Tuesday morning, most of it falling Monday and Monday night.

A frontal system will begin to slowly move back northward tonight. Snow will begin over Northern New Brunswick tonight then change to ice pellets and freezing rain overnight. As the frontal system will continue to move northward on Monday the ice pellets and freezing rain will change to rain by noon Monday.

Some freezing rain is also expected tonight over Northeast New Brunswick, however, the majority of the precipitation will fall in an extended period of ice pellets.
