Discussion:
A vigorous weather disturbance currently over the Bay of Fundy
brought heavy rain, snow, and strong winds to New Brunswick
beginning Saturday. This system continues to impact the province
this morning. The heaviest rain was reported over the Fundy region
where hourly rates were near 10 millimetres per hour Saturday night.
Power outages and tree damage due to strong wind gusts were also
reported. In the north, snow continues to fall and early
measurements of 15 to 20 cm have been received.
