Discussion.

A slow moving low pressure system tracked south of Nova Scotia
Monday and Tuesday. This system gave snow and rain to all of Nova
Scotia starting early Monday morning and continued into Tuesday
night.

The following is a summary of snowfall amounts (cm) reported as of 8
am today:

Sydney Airport: 24.8
Halifax Stanfield International Airport: 25.8
Hammonds Plains: 22.6
Rawdon: 41.4
Lower Sackville: 20.0
Trafalgar: 24.6
Wolfville: 17.5
St. Anns: 20.3
Fall River: 23.4
