A low pressure system south of Nova Scotia will remain nearly

stationary until Wednesday. It will bring bands of rain mainly to

Northern Nova Scotia into Wednesday and possibly longer. The total

amounts could reach warning criteria but the guidance is uncertain

about the exact rainfall amounts. Given the current wet soil

conditions there is a possibility of local flooding.


The public is advised to monitor future forecasts as warnings may be

required.
