This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Central Highlands Maine, Far
Eastern Maine, Far Northern Maine, Interior DownEast Maine, North
Woods Maine and Penobscot Valley Maine.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

There is the potential for a heavy wet accumulating snow late Friday
night into Saturday mainly north of Bangor. However, there is still
uncertainty with snow totals. There is also the potential for gusty
winds with the storm. These winds along with heavy wet snow could
bring down trees and power lines leading to power outages.

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS
EVENING TO 3 AM EDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Some splash-over and minor coastal flooding around the
  time of the midnight high tide.

* WHERE...In New Hampshire, Coastal Rockingham County. In Maine,
  Coastal York, Coastal Cumberland, Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and
  Coastal Waldo Counties.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 3 AM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of parking lots, parks, and roads with only
  isolated road closures expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

Special weather statement in effect for:

Fredericton and Southern York County
Significant snowfall expected beginning on Saturday.

Total snowfall: 15 cm or more in some areas.

Location: New Brunswick.

Time span: Saturday morning through Sunday morning.

Remarks: A mix of snow and rain is expected to spread across New Brunswick on Saturday morning and continue through Saturday night. Current forecast guidance indicates that that the greatest snowfall accumulations will likely be over northwesternmost regions, with the heaviest snowfall rates on Saturday night. The snow will taper to flurries on Sunday morning, which will be accompanied by brisk northwesterly winds.
