Snowfall warning in effect for:
  • Saint John and County
Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.

An area of low pressure will track up the US eastern seaboard Tuesday then track south of Nova Scotia Tuesday night. Snow associated with this system will begin Tuesday morning over western portions of the province then spread eastward through the day. Snow will taper to flurries Tuesday night. Snowfall accumulations of 15 to 20 centimetres can be expected for southernmost portions of New Brunswick with 5 to 10 centimetres elsewhere.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

  • Halifax Metro and Halifax County West
Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.

An area of low pressure will track up the US eastern seaboard Tuesday then track south of Nova Scotia Tuesday night. Snow associated with this system will begin Tuesday morning over western portions of the province then spread eastward through the day. Snow will taper to flurries Tuesday night. Snowfall and ice pellet accumulations of 15 to 25 centimetres can be expected for western and central Nova Scotia with 5 to 10 centimetres elsewhere. The extreme southwestern Nova Scotia coastline should see a changeover to rain Tuesday night and therefore snowfall amounts may be less.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
