Snowfall warning in effect for:

Grand Lake and Queens County
Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.

A low pressure system approaching from New England will spread snow and rain across New Brunswick today. Snow is expected to change to rain over central and northeastern areas tonight, however over northern areas the snow will continue into Wednesday morning. Precipitation is expected to taper to showers or flurries on Wednesday as the low weakens.

Over portions of central and northern New Brunswick, snow giving accumulations of 15 to 20 centimetres is forecast. Highest amounts are expected over higher terrain where temperatures will be slightly colder. Strong winds could produce some blowing snow with reduced visibilities over northeastern regions tonight.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
