* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. The ice will result in
  difficult travel conditions. Total wet snow accumulations of up
  to one inch and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch
  are expected.

* WHERE...Northern Somerset, Northern Piscataquis, Northern
  Penobscot, Southeast Aroostook and Central Piscataquis County.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON SUNDAY TO MIDNIGHT EST
SUNDAY NIGHT...

The National Weather Service in Gray has issued a Wind Advisory,
which is in effect from noon Sunday to midnight EST Sunday night.

* Winds...West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Timing...Sunday afternoon and evening.

* Impacts...Strong winds may cause small limbs to snap and lead to
  isolated power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph...or
wind gusts 46 to 57 mph...are expected. Winds this strong can
make driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles.
Use extra caution.

Special weather statement in effect for:

Miramichi and area
A vigorous low pressure system will bring wintery conditions to northern New Brunswick Sunday morning.

Freezing rain will spread across the region Sunday morning then change to rain by noon. Current indications are that amounts will not be significant, but several hours of freezing rain are possible. Travel conditions may deteriorate as untreated surfaces become slippery. The public is encouraged to drive with caution.

On Sunday afternoon near high tide, storm surge and waves impacting the Bay of Chaleur, as well as the Gulf coast from Miramichi north, may give minor flooding along parts of the coast.

Freezing rain warning in effect for:

Stanley - Doaktown - Blackville Area
Freezing rain is expected or occurring.

A vigorous low pressure system will bring wintery conditions to northern New Brunswick early on Sunday.

Freezing rain is forecast to begin early on Sunday and persist for several hours. It should change over to rain by noon. Morning driving conditions may be treacherous so caution should be exercised.

On Sunday afternoon near high tide, storm surge and waves impacting the Bay of Chaleur may give minor flooding along parts of the coast.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.

Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
