Discussion.

An intense low pressure system tracked across Nova Scotia on
Wednesday then moved into the Gulf of St Lawrence Wednesday night.
This system brought heavy snow fall to most of central and
northeastern New Brunswick, with snow changing to rain across
extreme southern New Brunswick.

An intense low pressure system tracked across Nova Scotia on
Wednesday then moved into the Gulf of St Lawrence Wednesday night.
This system brought heavy rain and strong winds to the province,
with a brief period of snow reported at first over northern sections
Wednesday morning.

Discussion.

An intense low pressure system tracked along the Eastern American
Seaboard on Wednesday then across the Gulf of St. Lawrence last
night. This system caused winter storm conditions over much of the
Gaspé Peninsula as well as the North-Shore areas east of Sept-Îles.
High winds and zero visibilities in blowing snow will continue to
affect several regions of Eastern Quebec today.

On Wednesday, an intense low pressure system approached the Island
from the southwest and crossed the Gulf of St. Lawrence Wednesday
night. Very strong southeasterly winds across Newfoundland Wednesday
night shifted to very strong southwesterly winds by Thursday
morning. Winds gradually diminished throughout the region Thursday
night and Friday as the low moved out into the Labrador Sea.
