A STRONG AREA OF LOW PRESSURE IS EXPECTED TO AFFECT THE REGION
FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. THERE IS THE
POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL FOR INLAND AREAS, WITH RAIN AND
SNOW ALONG THE COAST.

Rainfall warning in effect for:

Yarmouth County
Rain, heavy at times is expected.

Snow is expected to begin late this evening and then change to rain overnight tonight. Rain at times heavy is expected to continue into Tuesday. Total

rainfall amounts of up to 40 millimetres are expected for the tri-county area before tapering to showers Tuesday afternoon.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.

Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick
A low pressure system approaching from Ontario will spread snow into New Brunswick beginning this evening. Snow will change through ice pellets

and freezing rain to rain overnight or Tuesday morning. While snowfall amounts are expected to remain between 5 and 15 centimetres, there is still a

possibility that this could be exceeded in some areas. In addition, the accumulated snow combined with the ice pellets and freezing rain will likely

impact travel overnight Monday and Tuesday morning.

Snowfall warning in effect for:

Fredericton and Southern York County
A low pressure system approaching from Ontario will spread snow into New Brunswick beginning this evening. Snow will change through ice pellets

and freezing rain to rain early Tuesday morning. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 centimetres are expected before the changeover.

Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
