* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations
of up to one inch, sleet accumulations of around 1 inch and
ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch expected.
* WHERE...Portions of south central, west central, and western
Maine.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 8 AM EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

Victoria County
Significant snowfall is possible beginning early Sunday morning.
Total snowfall: 5 to 10 cm, except possibly reaching 15 cm over the Highlands.
Locations: Victoria County and Inverness County - Mabou and north.
Time span: beginning before dawn Sunday through early Sunday afternoon.
Remarks: Snow is expected to move into Cape Breton beginning overnight tonight before becoming mixed with or changing to ice pellets in the morning with a risk of freezing rain, then to rain in the afternoon.
A slight change in the expected track or intensity of this system could significantly affect these forecast snow amounts. The public is advised to monitor future forecast updates for possible warnings.

Locations: Prince Edward Island.
Time span: beginning after midnight tonight through Sunday morning.
Remarks: Snow is expected to spread across the island just after midnight tonight. Snow will become mixed with ice pellets or rain in the morning with a risk of freezing rain, then to showers or drizzle near noon.

Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick
Prolonged snowfall event expected beginning this evening.
Total snowfall: 10 to 15 cm, locally 20 cm.
Maximum wind gusts: 40 to 60 km/h.
Locations: most of New Brunswick.
Time span: tonight through Sunday night.
Remarks: Heavy snow is expected to spread across parts of New Brunswick beginning this evening, with strong winds and local blowing snow possible. The snow will likely change briefly to freezing rain or ice pellets over south-central parts of the province on near midnight tonight or overnight. Coastal regions along the Fundy shore should remain warm enough for rain with this system. There still remains some uncertainty with the exact track of this system, and the intensity of the snowfall. The rain-snow line may shift slightly and warnings for snowfall and freezing rain may be required as this system draws nearer.
Conditions will improve across the Maritimes on Monday.
