A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM THAT DEVELOPED OVER THE GREAT LAKES REGION
ON CHRISTMAS EVE INTENSIFIED AND MOVED INTO QUEBEC ON CHRISTMAS DAY. 
THIS LOW GAVE A PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN FOLLOWED BY HEAVY RAINFALL, 
GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS, AND VERY MILD TEMPERATURES TO NEW BRUNSWICK.
