Frost Possible Overnight Throughout All Of New Brunswick And Northern Nova Scotia

Frost advisory in effect for:

Fredericton and Southern York County
Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas.

Minimum temperatures: minus 5 to plus 1 in low-lying areas.

Location: New Brunswick.

Time span: tonight and Tuesday morning.

Remarks: Patchy frost is expected to form as clear skies and light winds coincide with cool temperatures, especially in low lying areas. These cold morning temperatures are expected to continue into the mid week.

Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.

Minimum temperatures: plus 1 to plus 6 (coldest in low lying areas).

Location: Annapolis Valley, central and northern mainland Nova Scotia.

Time span: tonight and early Tuesday morning.

Remarks: clear skies and light winds will give favourable conditions for patchy frost formation tonight. Conditions will remain favourable for frost again on Tuesday night.
