Hurricanes May Significantly Affect Eastern Canada This Upcoming Season, Forecasters Warn

Frequent gusts of 30 mph/48 km/h, and two brief peak gusts to 40 mph/64 km/h, occurred as a Severe Thunderstorm passed by about 5 miles/8 km to the North of this area. The storm passed by between roughly 10:50 PM and 11:20 PM Local Time (ADT). This storm caused a power outage in and around the Woodstock area (which is about 15 miles/24 km NNW of here).
