A developing low pressure system over the Great Lakes will track
eastward across the Maritimes Saturday. This system will bring
precipitation to Southwestern New Brunswick overnight and will spread
to northeastern sections of the province by Saturday morning.
For northern sections of the province snowfall amounts of 10
centimetres or more are forecast and may be mixed with ice pellets or
freezing rain Saturday afternoon and evening before precipitation
begins to taper off after midnight.
The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as
warnings may be required or extended.

This is a warning that an extended period of freezing rain is expected in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.
A developing low pressure system over the Great Lakes will track eastward across the Maritimes Saturday. This system will bring precipitation to Southwestern New Brunswick overnight and will spread to northeastern sections of the province by Saturday morning. Brief periods of freezing rain or ice pellets are expected over southern parts of the province Saturday morning as snow changes over into rain. However as the rain snow boundary pushes further north Saturday afternoon an extended period of freezing rain will develop over central regions. Freezing rain will persist into the evening until precipitation either changes to rain or begins to taper off.

Rain will begin during the day Saturday with amounts of 25 to 35 millimetres expected by overnight Saturday.
This is a warning that significant rainfall is expected in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.
A developing low pressure system over the Great Lakes will track eastward across the Maritimes Saturday. Precipitation will begin late Saturday morning and spread eastward across the province. All areas will see rain however over northern areas the precipitation will likely begin as snow. Northern areas may also experience a brief period of freezing rain before changing over to rain. Rainfall amounts of 25 to 35 millimetres are forecast for southern regions with amounts of 10 to 20 millimetres expected elsewhere.
Les Suetes winds gusting to 80 km/h will develop Saturday with gusts to 100 km/h expected by Saturday evening.
