A trough of low pressure will approach the Maritimes today. A low pressure center will form in the trough near Cape Cod tonight and then track northeast through the Bay of Fundy overnight. Rain associated with this trough will begin over Southwestern New Brunswick this afternoon and spread across the province this evening. Total rainfall amounts of 25 millimetres are expected for regions along the Bay of Fundy by Wednesday morning.
