Doppler radar image taken from Main early in the evening hours: It clearly show the well defined squall line embedded within the wall of the strong cold front that brought damaging winds to the region on the 29th. 

Atlantic Surface Analysis Taken at 1800 UCT on September 29th. This map clearly show the steep pressure gradient along the strong cold front that brought damaging wind gusts of up to 60 mph to the region, late in the afternoon and early in the evening of the 29th.
