IN FAR NORTHERN MAINE. A COLD FRONT EXTENDED FROM THE LOW THROUGH
NORTHEAST MAINE AND INTO THE WESTERN ATLANTIC WHILE A WARM FRONT
WAS LIFTING NORTH THROUGH THE CANADIAN MARITIMES. NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE DOPPLER RADARS AND SURFACE OBSERVATIONS INDICATED AN AREA
OF LIGHT TO LOCALLY MODERATE SNOW STILL FALLING WELL TO THE WEST
OF THE SURFACE LOW UNDERNEATH THE UPPER LEVEL LOW ACROSS THE OHIO
VALLEY AND PARTS OF THE UPPER AND LOWER GREAT LAKES. SUSTAINED
WINDS HAVE WEAKENED TO 15 TO 20 MPH...WITH HIGHER GUSTS OBSERVED.
WITHIN THE MILDER AIR...AN AREA OF RAIN WAS OBSERVED SOUTH OF THE
SURFACE LOW ACROSS PARTS OF NEW ENGLAND.

ADDITIONAL INCHES OF SNOW IS FORECASTED. RAIN SHOWERS LINGERING
ACROSS PARTS OF NEW ENGLAND WILL TRANSITION TO SNOW AS COLDER AIR
FILTERS IN BUT IS EXPECTED TO ONLY AMOUNT TO 1 TO 2 INCHES OF
ADDITIONAL SNOW. THE FREEZING RAIN...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM...AND
HEAVY RAIN THREAT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS STORM HAS COME TO AN END.
