...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM EST
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Freezing rain, sleet and wet snow. Additional ice
  accumulation up to a trace...mainly on the west side of the
  Penobscot River. Additional snow accumulations of up to 7 inches
  north of a line from Patten to Mars Hill. Sleet accumulations up
  to around one inch in a corridor from Lincoln and Millinocket
  towards Houlton and Hodgdon.

* WHERE...Portions of Central Highlands, Far Eastern and
  Penobscot Valley Maine.

* WHEN...Until 3 AM EST Monday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and sleet means periods of
snow and sleet will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect
snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution
while driving.

Special weather statement in effect for:

Acadian Peninsula
Snow, ice pellets and possible freezing rain for Sunday night and into Monday morning.

Snow will begin over western New Brunswick this evening, then continue into Monday afternoon over the northeast. Generally snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm can be expected in heaviest areas where warnings have been issued.

Central regions of the province will see a mix of rain, snow, ice pellets, and freezing rain tonight and Monday. Some areas could see a period of freezing rain tonight, including areas from Woodstock to Stanley and south towards Fredericton.

Snowfall warning in effect for:

Woodstock and Carleton County
Heavy Snow, ice pellets and possible freezing rain for tonight and Monday morning.

Expect 15 to 20 cm of snow with some areas possibly reaching 25 cm by Monday morning.

Snow will begin over western New Brunswick early this evening, then continue into Monday, ending from west to east by afternoon.

Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
