* ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF A QUARTER INCH OR LESS IS EXPECTED TO
  FALL ON THE REMAINING SNOW PACK IN THE WATCH AREA THROUGH THIS
  EVENING. IN ADDITION...RUNOFF FROM MELTING SNOW WILL PERSIST
  INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. RISING RIVER LEVELS COULD ALLOW
  ICE TO BREAK AND POSSIBLY JAM. WATER LEVELS CAN CHANGE RAPIDLY
  IN THE VICINITY OF ICE JAMS.

* POTENTIAL IMPACTS...MINOR STREAM FLOODING...POSSIBLE ICE JAMMING
  ON MAJOR RIVERS SUCH AS THE SAINT JOHN...ALLAGASH...AROOSTOOK
  AND PISCATAQUIS THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. OTHER
  IMPACTS ALSO INCLUDE THE POTENTIAL OF URBAN FLOODING DUE TO POOR
  DRAINAGE OF RAINFALL AND SNOWMELT RUNOFF INTO POTENTIALLY SNOW
  BLOCKED STORM DRAINS.
