Rainfall warning for
Woodstock and Carleton County continued

Periods of rain at times heavy will develop over northern regions today and continue tonight and into Tuesday.

This is a warning that significant rainfall is expected or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.

A frontal trough will slide into Northern New Brunswick today and then track very slowly eastward overnight and on Tuesday. Periods of rain associated with this feature will spread throughout the northwestern regions and push eastward today. The rain will continue overnight and into Tuesday before ending as the feature pulls away.

Rainfall amount up to 60 millimetres are expected for the entire northern half of the province by Tuesday afternoon. Southern regions can expect rainfall amounts ranging from 10 to 20 millimetres. However areas north of Fredericton that are not under rainfall warnings could see a large variation in amounts from north to south as the rain is expected to have a very sharp boundary to it.
