* WHAT...Temperatures in the low to mid 30s will result in frost

  formation.


* WHERE...Northeast Aroostook, Northern Somerset, Northwest

  Aroostook, Southeast Aroostook, Northern Piscataquis, Northern

  Penobscot and Central Piscataquis Counties.


* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 8 AM EDT Saturday.


* IMPACTS...Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if

  left uncovered.

Frost advisory in effect for:

Fredericton and Southern York County

Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas.

Time span: late tonight and early Saturday morning.

Location: New Brunswick, except the Fundy coast.

Remarks: A combination of clear skies and light winds will give favourable conditions for frost formation tonight, especially in low lying areas.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
